Role Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead - Custom Apps / App Engine with strong expertise in ServiceNow Finance and Accounting Operations (FAO) and/or Procurement Service Management. Expertise with Third Party Risk Management and Third-Party Compliance processes is preferred. The ServiceNow Technical Lead will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ServiceNow development teams focused on custom applications.

The role will collaborate with clients, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architecture, ServiceNow support, and cross-functional technical teams to design, develop, integrate, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions. Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ServiceNow development teams focused on custom apps. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements within the ServiceNow framework and/or partner with Enterprise Architecture to suggest alternative platforms.

Translate complex business needs into clear technical designs and work with Solution Architects on design approval. Design, develop, and implement solutions that are scalable, flexible, and easy to maintain, including leading proofs of concept for new solutions. Lead the development team in building and implementing solutions that meet approved designs and requirements, ensuring consistency of development standards.

Design and develop robust integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using iPaaS such as MuleSoft, APIs, web services, MID Servers, and ETL tools, while exploring opportunities to leverage AI. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle, including working with ServiceNow support and other technical teams to address and resolve critical issues. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are integrated with other systems and processes.

Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and development standards. Lead teams through ServiceNow platform upgrades and act as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges during delivery. Stay current with ServiceNow functionalities and advocate for best practices, recommending out-of-the-box solutions where possible. Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of recent experience in ServiceNow development and architecture, with extensive experience as a technical leader.

Strong expertise in ServiceNow Finance and Accounting Operations (FAO) and/or Procurement Service Management is required. Expertise with Third Party Risk Management and Third-Party Compliance processes preferred. Experience supporting business solutions hosted on ServiceNow from a developer or administrator perspective, including challenges associated with upgrades, integrations, and operational support. Strong understanding of the practical application of ServiceNow as it relates to industry solutions, as well as the interconnectedness between modules and core data.

Proven familiarity with ServiceNow and other technology platforms commonly used to service core business functions. Required Certifications
