Job Title: BSP (Kernel / QNX) Software Engineer

Location: Dr., Hillsboro, OR, US

On Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BSP (Kernel / QNX) Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, debug, and maintain Kernel and QNX software for next-generation embedded and In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) platforms. The engineer will work closely with hardware, platform software, Android, system integration, and validation teams to enable and support QNX-based platform functionality from bootloader through operating system and device driver layers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and test high-quality embedded software applications from functional and system specifications.

Design, develop, integrate, debug, and maintain QNX and Linux platform software.

Develop and support Linux kernel and device drivers.

Perform board bring-up, platform enablement, and hardware integration activities.

Optimize system performance, memory utilization, stability, and reliability.

Work on boot processes, startup flows, and operating system bring-up.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environments.

Create and execute test plans, functional tests, regression tests, and performance benchmarks.

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, design reviews, code reviews, and release activities.

Support CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and continuous integration processes.

Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues across multiple platform layers.
