Overview
Susquehanna is looking for an experienced Counterparty Onboarding Analyst to join a growing team, serving as a day-to-day lead and key point of contact across the onboarding function. This person will oversee the full onboarding lifecycle for counterparties and vendors, and establish structure around monitoring and oversight, acting as a liaison between the business to ensure proper compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a lead on the team, providing direction and solutions across day-to-day onboarding operations
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for counterparties and vendors across multiple jurisdictions
- Conduct initial due diligence and manage ongoing counterparty monitoring
- Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders to ensure onboarding aligns with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Conduct payment instruction vetting on domestic and international wire transfers with a high degree of accuracy
- Identify and escalate risk issues while owning resolution and keeping management informed
- Accurately capture and maintain counterparty data across internal systems and contribute to process improvements
What we're looking for
- 5 to 7 years of KYC and counterparty lifecycle management experience, ideally at a financial institution or trading firm
- Strong understanding of the flow of trading and the broader control environment
- Top-tier communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in an ambiguous environment
- Prior experience in a lead or senior capacity is a plus
- Experience with international onboarding across multiple jurisdictions is a plus
- Familiarity with Fenergo preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
