Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer<br />Location: Somerset (Commutable from, Sherborne, Yeovil, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Bruton, Wincanton and surrounding areas) <br />Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + Bonus <br />Shift:

Monday to Friday (Double Days) <br /><br />Are you a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge?

Zest Engineering are working closely with a highly reputable food manufacturer in the heart of Somerset looking to expand its team due to internal growth within the business! <br /><br />Key Responsibilities:<br />* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across a range of systems.<br />* Carry out breakdown fault finding and maintenance on production machinery.<br />* Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.<br />* Conduct root cause analysis to identify and solve equipment failures and recurring issues.<br />* Maintain and optimise steam systems, ensuring they run safely and efficiently.<br />* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve overall equipment performance.<br />Requirements:<br />* Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role (electrical and mechanical).<br />* Previous experience working within food manufacturing.<br />* Strong experience in continuous improvement and root cause analysis.<br />* In-depth knowledge of steam systems and associated equipment.<br />* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.<br />* Flexibility with hours as when needed.<br /><br />Similar roles include; Maintenance engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, manufacturing engineer, manufacturing technician, continuous improvement engineer, maintenance technician<br /><br />To find out more, please click 'Apply' or contact George for a confidential discussion 01780 483 999 / <br /><br />As you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop.
