<strong style="">Role:</strong> Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer<br /><strong style="">Salary:</strong> £43,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus benefits and progression opportunities <br /><strong style="">Hours:</strong> 4 on 4 off, rotating days & nights<br /><strong style="">Location:</strong> Commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas<br /><br /><strong style="">Company</strong><br /><br />Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer to join a large and well-established manufacturing company at their Birmingham site.
You will be joining a friendly and experienced engineering team within a fast-paced production environment.
The company is committed to investing in its employees, offering ongoing training, development opportunities, and long-term career progression.<br /><br /><strong style="">Responsibilities</strong><br /><br />As a Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting production machinery and site equipment through a combination of reactive maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), machinery improvements, installations, and project work.<br /><br />This role would suit engineers who enjoy variety in their day-to-day work, working across a range of manufacturing and automated equipment, whilst continuously developing their technical skills.<br /><br /><strong style="">Requirements</strong><br /><br />• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship, hold relevant engineering qualifications, or have significant maintenance engineering experience gained within industry.<br />• Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, distribution, logistics, or industrial environment.<br />• Experience with any of the following will be considered: conveyors, packaging machinery, bearings, belts, motors, sensors, drives, inverters, relays, contactors, three-phase systems, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, automated equipment, robotics, or material handling systems.<br />• Mechanical or electrical maintenance background – multi-skilled engineers are particularly encouraged to apply.<br />• Friendly and adaptable approach to work with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.<br />• Proactive attitude with a hands-on approach to fault finding and problem solving.<br /><br />If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up-to-date CV to Vicky at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
