Cloud Data Platform Engineer

REMOTE OPPORTUNITY 

Job Summary :

Seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Engineer with strong hands-on Snowflake Administration, AWS, SQL, data pipelines, security, and performance optimization experience.

Key Skills & Experience :

• Snowflake Administration – architecture, security, RBAC, user/role management, performance tuning and cost optimization
• Snowpark Container Services
• AWS: S3, IAM, RDS, Fargate/ECS and Snowflake integrations
• Cloud Data Warehouses: Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse
• Strong SQL, stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
• Data pipelines, job scheduling, monitoring and troubleshooting
• Python/Java
• Docker & Kubernetes – building/deploying containerized applications
• Informatica or equivalent ETL tools
• Data modeling, governance, security and access controls
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI and intelligent automation
• Minimum 10 years of cloud data platform experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Certifications: Snowflake, AWS or Data Platform certifications are a plus.
