Network Engineer, Lead | Escondido, CA, United States | Hybrid | $99,000 - $225,000

We're hiring for a globally recognized professional services firm that plays a critical role in supporting national and global security missions. This organization is dedicated to providing critical infrastructure and IT solutions for geographically dispersed units worldwide. The Role

  • Design, develop, and implement network architecture solutions to meet evolving requirements for critical defense missions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues, providing Tier III support to ensure operational continuity.
  • Develop and execute enterprise migration and implementation plans for data centers and remote access solutions.
  • Monitor network performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement automated solutions for configuration management and software-defined networking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, engineering, and operations, to align network strategy with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and deliver network engineering artifacts, such as configuration guides and diagrams.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Proven experience delivering network engineering artifacts like templates, configuration guides, and network diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of L2-L4 networking protocols.
  • Ability to travel to OCONUS locations up to 30% of the time.
  • A Secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification and Security+ certification.
