Sr. Agile Coach

Job Title: Sr. Agile Coach 

Location: Boston, MA (onsite)

Duration: 6-12+ months

Perficient is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support a leading insurance client based in the Boston area. This role will guide teams and leadership in adopting and maturing Agile practices, with a strong emphasis on Scrum best practices and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities: 

Coach cross-functional teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and industry best practices 

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure ePective execution 

Partner with leadership to drive Agile mindset, transformation, and cultural change across the organization Assess Agile maturity and implement strategies to improve team performance, delivery predictability, and value realization 

Identify and remove impediments, promote team self-organization, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning

Qualifications: 

Proven experience as an Agile Coach or senior Scrum practitioner in enterprise environments 

Deep expertise in Scrum framework, Agile methodologies, and scaling approaches 

Experience working with insurance or financial services clients preferred 

Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills 

Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSP, SAFe) preferred

Educational Qualifications:

·         Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.

·         Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

·         Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
