The Role

• Operate heavy equipment, such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.
• Stack, move, and organize containers within the intermodal yard.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
• Experience in logistics, industrial environments, or operating heavy machinery is preferred.
