Join an enterprise technology team responsible for supporting and validating multiple business applications in a fast-moving Agile environment. This Quality Engineering group combines manual testing, data validation, API testing, and automation to ensure applications and underlying data meet established quality standards.

Rather than supporting a single product, this role works across a diverse portfolio of applications and user stories. The environment is collaborative and provides structured knowledge transfer, established QA practices, and mature automation frameworks while expecting engineers to take ownership, learn quickly, and independently apply those standards.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases across multiple enterprise applications.
• Translate business requirements and source-to-target mapping documents into SQL queries used to validate application and data behavior.
• Perform database and ETL validation using complex SQL, including joins across multiple tables.
• Test APIs by evaluating definitions, authentication mechanisms, parameters, payloads, responses, and underlying database results.
• Develop automation scripts and reusable testing components within established automation frameworks.
• Execute automated testing through CI/CD pipelines and understand how automated tests fit into the broader delivery lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate, consistently structured test cases and QA artifacts within Azure DevOps.
• Move effectively between different applications and types of user stories within the same Agile sprint.
• Learn existing frameworks, processes, and internal tools quickly while applying established QA standards.
• Participate in Agile refinement, testing, troubleshooting, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Do You Bring Proven Success in Quality Engineering and Test Automation?

• 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience within technical software environments.
• Strong hands-on SQL expertise, including joins, multi-table queries, database investigation, and source-to-target validation.
• At least 3 years of data integration, ETL, or database testing experience.
• At least 3 years of API testing experience.
• Strong understanding of API authentication, payloads, parameters, responses, and database validation.
• Hands-on experience creating automated test scripts, rather than solely executing existing automation.
• Understanding of test automation frameworks, reusable components, and automated execution through CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or comparable test-management and delivery platforms.
• Ability to understand an established testing framework and become productive without continuous hand-holding.
• Strong attention to documentation, QA standards, test-case structure, and process consistency.
• Ability to independently investigate unfamiliar systems and ask focused questions when additional guidance is needed.
• Comfortable shifting between multiple applications, datasets, and testing priorities within an Agile sprint.
• Collaborative, adaptable, curious, and accountable working style.
• Experience with QuerySurge, SOAtest, UiPath, C#, Azure DevOps pipelines, or similar technologies is advantageous.
• Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks is highly desirable.
• Exposure to GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development/testing technologies is a plus.
