Robotics Engineering Lead (onsite)

Introduction:

As the Robotics Engineering Lead at our company, you will play a key role in automating manufacturing processes using robotics technology. You will be responsible for integrating collaborative robots (cobots) for assembly, handling, and test tasks, as well as deploying autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) to move material across the factory floor.

Responsibilities:

• Own the automation of targeted manufacturing processes from concept to production
• Integrate collaborative robots for assembly, handling, and test tasks
• Deploy autonomous mobile robots to move material across the floor
• Program and integrate robots and their end-effectors, grippers, and vision systems
• Utilize cobot simulation and offline programming tools for validation
• Work with ROS / ROS 2 and robot simulation tools
• Manage AMR fleet and integrate with warehouse/manufacturing systems
• Ensure machine safety standards and risk assessment for robotic applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation/robotics in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mix of software and mechanical engineering skills
• Hands-on experience with collaborative robots and AMRs
• Experience with cobot simulation and offline programming tools
• Familiarity with machine vision, force/torque control, and pick-and-place applications
• Proficiency with CAD software for tooling and layout

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in electronics or precision manufacturing
• Knowledge of AMR fleet management and integration with warehouse systems
• Working knowledge of machine safety standards for robotic applications
