The Role

• Deliver in-person and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions for pupils from KS1 to KS5.
• Support learners referred by local authorities and schools, adapting to individual needs.
• Provide regular feedback on student progress and maintain lesson reports.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with a range of learning and emotional needs.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching Core Subjects (Maths, English, or Science).
• Understanding of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• UK work authorization.
