PCB Design Engineer

What candidate will Be Doing:

• Component-Level Diagnostics: Perform root-cause analysis on failed PCBAs down to the component level (capacitors, MOSFETs, IGBTs, ICs, microcontrollers, relays).
• System Isolation: Troubleshoot complex system faults involving motor/compressor drives, chiller control loops, sensor I/O modules, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN bus).
• Testing & Bench Work: Utilize oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, and thermal cameras to trace circuit traces and locate hardware failures.

What we are looking for:

• Rework & Soldering: Perform high-quality hand-soldering, SMD/thru-hole replacement, and trace repairs under magnifying equipment or microscopes.
• Documentation & Reporting: Log failure trends, track root causes, and write brief corrective action reports to inform design and production teams.
• Power Electronics back ground
