Job Description

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team and help drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and monitoring the quality performance of the assigned production department in ongoing quality activities and improvements
  • Responding to and coordinating customer queries and concerns with both internal teams and external customers
  • Leading small teams in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to develop core documentation such as GR&R, control plans, flow diagrams and FMEAs
  • Completing customer sample submissions and PPAP to a high technical standard
  • Managing product and process changes, ensuring quality requirements are fully assessed and implemented effectively.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least three years' experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • A good understanding of change management principles and their application within manufacturing.
  • Proven experience using core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience producing and maintaining quality documentation such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Knowledge of precision measurement techniques and inspection methods

Work pattern:

Full time 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm;

After successfully passing probation you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9 day fortnight.
