Job Description

Role: Quality Engineer Location: Omagh Hours: Monday Thursday 8:00am 5:00pm / Friday 8:00am 1:45pm (39.75 Hour Week) Pay: Competitive Rate + Team Member Bonus Live vacancy for a Quality Engineer working with a leading global manufacturer company who operate in the specialised heavy equipment and materials processing industry. The Role: Driving a proactive quality culture across the manufacturing process, preventing defects from design through to production, and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure engineering standards meet a zero-defect target. Positive Signs on your CV: Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment. Manufacturing Experience: Proven track record of experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment covering both fabrication and assembly disciplines. Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read engineering drawings, analyse quality data, utilize statistical fault-finding methods, and implement robust containment actions. Quality Toolkit: Solid knowledge of quality control techniques, control plans, and standard operating procedures (Internal audit certification or APQP experience is highly desirable).
