SDET with Ai Test Automation (mid level) Hybrid

Vega is hiring a SDET Engineer with Ai Automation Testing. Hybrid position locatged in Baltimore, MD. We are seeking a mid-level SDET with 5+ years of experience to join our clients team and help drive innovation in AI-powered test automation. This role focuses on building and maintaining intelligent test automation infrastructure on AWS and CloudBees, with emphasis on self-healing scripts and AI-driven testing solutions.

Job requirment:

• 5 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Test Automation within AI-powered, and enterprise applications.
• Must have AWS and CloudBees experience , with emphasis on self-healing scripts and AI-driven testing solutions.
• Experienced in testing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Playwright, TypeScript, Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD.
• Strong expertise in UI, API, end-to-end, regression, integration, cross-browser, and backend data validation testing.
• Hands-on experience testing conversational and Voice AI functionality, including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, intent recognition, conversation flow, response accuracy, fallback handling, and backend integrations.
• Experienced in using ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Claude to support test design, automation development, debugging, documentation, and framework modernization.
• Experienced in integrating automated tests into Jenkins and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and improve release confidence.
• ML concepts and GEN AI concepts
• Experience with modern testing frameworks beyond Selenium,
  Background in machine learning or AI applications
  Experience with microservices and containerized applications
  Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
