Job Description

BCforward seeks a Lead Software Tester/QA to support an SAP GTS Ongoing QA initiative (Edition for HANA / E4H). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP QA with deep SAP GTS testing expertise and a proven ability to drive risk-based test planning, execution, and release readiness across SIT and UAT phases.

Responsibilities:

• Review and clarify requirements for the 2025 SAP GTS version upgrade from 2022.


• Review and clarify requirements for import and export compliance enhancements.


• Identify test scope using risk-based testing methods.


• Create and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios.


• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to build test cases and scripts.


• Log and track issues and defects through resolution.


• Provide test effort estimates.


• Assist in SIT, UAT, and support release testing phases.


• Facilitate testing meetings, summarize results, report issues and defects, maintain metrics, and provide go or no-go recommendations.


• Generate test data to support testing needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of SAP QA experience.


• 3 to 4 years of exclusive SAP GTS testing experience focused on:
  
  
  
  • Compliance Management including SPL, Embargo, and Legal Control checks.
  
  
  • Customs Management for imports and exports.
  
  
  • Master data processing for SAP and Non-SAP systems.
  
  
  • Transactional data processing and validations in GTS.
  
  
  • e-filing process and communication knowledge.
  
  
  • Connection validation between SAP and Non-SAP systems.
  
  
  • Basic knowledge of GTS configuration and functional processes.
  
  
  • Fiori and Build Work Zone UI experience.
  
  
  
  


• Experience with interfaces or third-party tools.


• Experience with test suite management tools.


• Strong Agile background.


• Experience working with onsite and offshore resources.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.


• Strong collaboration skills.


• Experience with ServiceNow and SAP Cloud ALM (cALM) is a plus.


• Experience with Tricentis Tosca is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP GTS Edition for HANA upgrade testing experience.


• Background in risk-based testing and test data management.
