The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accurate placement within the intermodal yard.
• Position containers and chassis using hostlers to maintain efficient yard flow.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate movements and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors for seamless operations.
• Adhere to established safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is strictly required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
