TSSCI ISSE with Security Clearance

Required Skills & Experience Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or anything equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.9 and 8
Experience deploying, configuring, and administering ACAS and Nessus from the ground up
Experience deploying, maintaining, patching, and administering HBSS, ACAS, Nessus
Strong understanding of systems engineering, systems design, and architecture
Experience conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and security engineering activities
Experience with ACAS administration, vulnerability management, and vulnerability remediation Nice to Have Skills & Experience Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
Experience supporting DoD or National Military Command Center (NMCC) environments
Advanced cybersecurity architecture experience
Experience deploying Rogue Sensors and identifying rogue devices/subnets
Experience supporting highly secure enterprise environments
Additional cybersecurity certifications beyond Security+ Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to sit at the Pentagon.

This individual will support a highly secure mission environment by providing system security engineering, cybersecurity risk assessment, and security architecture expertise. The ideal candidate will lead technical efforts across the full system lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through deployment and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.

This role requires hands-on experience administering HBSS, ACAS, ePO, Security Center, and Nessus platforms, performing vulnerability management activities, implementing STIGs, and supporting secure enterprise infrastructure. The candidate will play a critical role in identifying security risks, driving remediation efforts, and maintaining the security posture of mission-critical systems.

Compensation

$70/hr to $80/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
