The Role

• Define and implement cybersecurity principles, standards, and design patterns for multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead working groups to drive the adoption of cybersecurity guidelines across architecture and engineering teams.
• Develop secure design patterns and contribute to governance frameworks for product and enterprise architecture.
• Provide expert analysis of information system risks and recommend innovative security solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient release processes.
• Engage with business and engineering teams to integrate security guardrails into development.
• Participate in incident response to identify design gaps and propose preventative measures.
• Evaluate emerging security trends and recommend appropriate technological enhancements.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of 4 years of dedicated cybersecurity experience.
• Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services, as well as on-premises infrastructure.
• Proven ability to articulate cybersecurity policies and procedures to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of current cybersecurity architectures including zero trust, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, and containerization.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and deploying solutions in large enterprises.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC) and relevant regulations.
