Strong closed-loop communication is essential. This individual will ensure conversations consistently result in documented decisions, requirements, owners, dependencies, and next steps, and that open items are followed through to resolution.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify pain points and opportunities, and recommend technology or process improvements.
- Lead collaborative requirements discovery sessions and translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and actionable development work.
- Use critical thinking and effective questioning to uncover underlying business needs, challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and evaluate dependencies and downstream impacts.
- Facilitate creative, real-time visual collaboration using process maps, workflows, wireframes, whiteboards, or other visual techniques to help stakeholders and technical teams develop a shared understanding of problems and potential solutions.
- Translate technical concepts and constraints into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements for technical teams.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify blockers and risks, and adapt plans as business priorities, requirements, or technical constraints evolve.
- Coordinate integrations of new systems and applications into business operations.
- Partner with technical teams throughout the development lifecycle to clarify requirements, resolve questions, and maintain alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions.
- Coordinate testing, validation, user acceptance testing, and stakeholder feedback throughout development cycles.
- Support Agile development activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily Scrum discussions, testing, and release planning.
- Create and maintain Jira stories, tasks, bugs, enhancements, and workflows, tracking work from discovery through development, testing, release, and stakeholder validation.
- Facilitate productive stakeholder and project meetings focused on active problem-solving and decision-making, not simply information gathering.
- Maintain closed-loop communication by documenting decisions, open questions, action items, owners, and target dates and ensuring outstanding items are followed through to resolution.
- Provide clear status updates, risks, recommendations, and decision points to senior and executive leadership.
- Create process and user documentation to support successful implementation and adoption of technology solutions.
- Use analytics, reporting, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate project outcomes and inform future technology initiatives.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in technology project management, business analysis, product delivery, or a similar technology-focused role.
- Demonstrated experience leading business process analysis, requirements discovery, and collaborative stakeholder sessions.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and technology infrastructure.
- Experience with sprint planning, backlog grooming/refinement, and daily Scrum meetings.
- Proficiency in Jira for requirements, workflow, backlog, release, and roadmap management.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify gaps, dependencies, conflicting requirements, and downstream impacts.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language and business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Strong facilitation, organizational, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with incomplete or ambiguous requirements and think creatively and adapt in real time as new information emerges.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of broader business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate proactively, follow through on commitments, and maintain closed-loop communication across stakeholders.
- Ability to be agile, adaptable, collaborative, and a strong team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Experience developing requirements visually and iteratively with stakeholders using process maps, workflows, wireframes, user journeys, or similar techniques.
We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all genders, races, ethnicities, abilities, and experiences to join our team and help us build a culture of belonging.
