Trader I Broker Dealer

Overview

Vinci Compass is looking for a Trader to join our Broker Dealer team in Miami. The Trader will be responsible for executing and managing securities transactions across multiple asset classes, monitoring market activity, and ensuring accurate and efficient trade execution. This role requires market knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced trading environment while maintaining compliance with regulatory and firm requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Execute and monitor trades across equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and other investment vehicles.

· Support registered representatives and internal teams in executing and managing client transactions.

· Process buy/sell transactions accurately and on time while maintaining compliance standards.

· Provide real-time quotes, communicate procedures, and respond to trading-related inquiries.

· Monitor market activity and assist in ensuring efficient trade execution.

· Research and resolve trade discrepancies promptly.

· Coordinate with custodians and internal teams to ensure smooth trading operations.

· Ensure all trading activity follows firm policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

· FINRA Series 7 license required.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in trading, broker-dealer operations, wealth management, or a related financial services role preferred.

· Experience executing or supporting trades across equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and other investment products.

· Familiarity with Pershing, Bloomberg, and Excel.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
