Senior Musical Instruments Retail Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a part-time Senior Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service, drive sales, and support music education in our retail store. You'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons, using your product knowledge to make tailored recommendations. Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, handling transactions, maintaining merchandising standards, coordinating rentals and lesson sign-ups, and supporting community and school outreach. You'll thrive in a collaborative, student-focused, and performance-driven environment with opportunities to grow your retail and music industry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable, friendly service to students, parents, and educators
• Guide customers in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and conversion goals
• Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately at the register
• Support lesson enrollment and scheduling processes
• Maintain merchandising, signage, and inventory presentation standards
• Assist with instrument rental setups and basic product demonstrations
• Participate in local school and community outreach as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store performance targets
