AVEVA PI Engineer Coventry - hybrid working Up to 80k Key Responsibilities Deliver digital engineering projects in line with company quality, health &amp; safety, cybersecurity, project delivery and regulatory requirements.<br />Take technical responsibility for projects, including requirements definition, system architecture, configuration, programming, testing, installation and commissioning.<br />Provide ongoing technical support for AVEVA-based and third-party solutions, helping customers adopt modernisation and digitalisation best practices.<br />Review engineering deliverables and coordinate structured testing with internal teams, customers and third-party stakeholders.<br />Produce and review technical documentation, including system specifications, test documentation, operating procedures and support manuals.<br />Ensure technical solutions are delivered against agreed time, cost and quality requirements.<br />Identify technical, delivery and commercial risks and opportunities, communicating these clearly to project and customer-facing stakeholders.<br />Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.<br />Work closely with service teams to support effective technical delivery and timely resolution of customer issues.<br />Provide technical input into bids and proposals, including estimates, delivery planning and solution development.<br />Represent the engineering function in customer meetings and technical discussions where required.

Skills &amp; Experience Strong practical experience with AVEVA technologies, with a good understanding of industrial digitalisation and modernisation solutions.<br />Experience across SCADA, telemetry, industrial networking and software engineering.<br />Exposure to platforms such as Geo SCADA, EcoStruxure Automation Expert or comparable industrial automation technologies.<br />Experience working within project environments, either in a lead or supporting engineering capacity, across the full project lifecycle.<br />Demonstrable experience delivering projects against agreed cost, quality and timescale requirements.<br />Willingness and ability to work at customer sites in the UK and, where required, internationally.<br />Understanding of cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premise architectures.<br />Awareness of cybersecurity principles applicable to industrial control and operational technology environments.<br />Experience within two or more relevant industries, such as Water &amp; Wastewater, Oil &amp; Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Food &amp; Beverage, Critical National Infrastructure, Renewable Energy or similar sectors.<br />Ability to communicate technical concepts and best practice effectively to customers and non-specialist stakeholders.<br />Experience facilitating technical discovery, UX/UI or digitalisation workshops and translating customer requirements into practical solution designs.<br />Knowledge of industrial communications, networking and modern integration technologies such as OPC UA, MQTT and REST APIs.<br />Comfortable working with common operating systems and standard business software.<br />Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify, communicate and manage project risks and commercial opportunities
