Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Installation &amp; Service Engineer to join their expanding technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AV professional who enjoys a varied role combining installation, service, client interaction, and technical excellence.

The Role As an AV Installation &amp; Service Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations and providing ongoing technical support. You will be customer-facing, hands-on, and trusted to represent The Client with professionalism and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities Install, configure and maintain Audio Visual and Video Conferencing systems<br />Install equipment including:<br />Projectors<br />Video walls<br />LED walls<br />Digital Signage LFDs<br />Build and program AV racks to a high standard<br />Read and interpret AV system schematics and cabling drawings<br />Diagnose faults on-site and restore service efficiently<br />Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance visits<br />Deliver end-user familiarisation training following installation<br />Complete accurate documentation including asset registers and service reports<br />Provide clear verbal and written feedback to internal teams<br />Build strong relationships with customers and identify potential upselling opportunities<br />Support a smooth handover from installation to service support teams<br />Maintain high technical standards across all projectsWhat Success Looks Like Outstanding installation and support handover experience for customers<br />Seamless transition of completed projects into ongoing service support<br />Strong client relationships that enhance The Client's reputation as a leading AV/VC integratorSkills &amp; Experience Required Essential Minimum 2 years' experience as an AV / VC Engineer<br />Experience installing and supporting AV and Video Conferencing solutions<br />Experience with programming and rack building<br />Ability to read and interpret AV system schematics<br />Familiarity with:<br />Extron<br />Crestron<br />Kramer<br />Experience with VC manufacturers such as:<br />Poly<br />Logitech<br />Cisco<br />Yealink<br />Ability to terminate cables to industry standard (RS232, Cat5e/Cat6)<br />Strong written and verbal communication skills<br />Experience working in or alongside a helpdesk/support environment<br />Ability to work independently and as part of a team<br />Flexible approach to working hours<br />Willingness to travel, including occasional work outside the UK<br />ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) or equivalentDesirable Understanding of IP networking<br />CTS certification<br />IPAF<br />PASMA<br />Product certifications (Poly, Extron, Crestron, Barco)Why Apply?
