Avionics Multi Core Systems Engineer

We're hiring an Avionics Multi-Core Systems Engineer for a long-term (12+ months) onsite opportunity in Melbourne, FL, supporting a major aerospace/defense client.

What You'll Do:

• Perform multi-core analysis aligned with AC-20-193 (CAST-32A) guidance
• Develop and execute micro-benchmarks/benchmarks on target multi-core systems
• Analyze system performance and hardware/software interference issues, and drive mitigation solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-core processor products in safety-critical environments
• RTOS experience in safety-critical environments
• Embedded hardware development and verification experience
• Experience or knowledge of AC-20-193 (CAST-32A)
• Experience defining hardware interference channels
• Prior experience with major aerospace/avionics clients (Boeing, Airbus, Collins Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace, GE Aerospace, RTX, L3Harris, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree + 5 years progressive Systems Engineering experience, OR Master's + 3 years

Preferred:

• Embedded system design/verification experience
• Experience with DO-178C, DO-254, DO-297, ARP4754B
• Background developing benchmarks for multi-core platform testing
• Experience supporting third-party certification (CAST-32A objectives)
