Due to significant investment and long‑term programme growth, we're looking for experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers, with strong Siemens NX skills and a background in tooling, fixtures, jigs, lifting equipment or precision mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities 3D modelling and 2D detailing in Siemens NX<br />Managing design data via Teamcenter (PLM)<br />Full lifecycle tooling design: requirements → concept → DfM → release<br />Producing assemblies, sub‑assemblies, BOMs and detailed drawings<br />Applying GD&amp;T to ASME Y14.5 / BS standards<br />Supporting gated design reviews and client presentations<br />Ensuring compliance with safety legislation and UKCA requirementsWhat You'll Bring Essential:

Strong Siemens NX (3D + 2D)<br />Proven tooling / jigs / fixtures / lifting equipment design experience<br />Teamcenter or similar PLM experience<br />Solid DfM understanding<br />Confident with GD&amp;TDesirable:

Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defence, heavy engineering, oil &amp; gas<br />FEA exposure (Abaqus, ANSYS, MathCAD or hand calcs)<br />Manufacturing or toolmaker backgroundWhy Join?
