Mechanical Engineer (Facilities Management)
Location: Fulham
Salary: £43,000 + Overtime
Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Holiday: 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a Facilities Management team on a prestigious static site in SW6, London. This role will focus on the maintenance and operation of mechanical building services, with a particular emphasis on swimming pool plant and associated equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong FM maintenance experience who is confident carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance within a high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services systems.
• Operate, maintain and fault-find on swimming pool plant, including pumps, filtration systems, dosing equipment and associated mechanical plant.
• Support the day-to-day facilities maintenance operations across the site.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems including pumps, valves, pipework and plant equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Complete maintenance records, job reports and compliance documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the wider site engineering and facilities team to maintain high standards across the building. Requirements
• Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer within Facilities Management or Building Services.
• Experience maintaining swimming pools or pool plant equipment is essential.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
• Good understanding of PPM schedules, reactive maintenance and compliance processes.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Package * £43,000 basic salary
