Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with business and engineering teams at UHG. The candidate will identify business problems and build AI/GenAI solutions, automations, and integrations that deliver real business value.

This is a coding and implementation-focused role, not an advisory-only position.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with business and engineering teams to understand problems and requirements.

• Build and deploy AI/GenAI solutions, prototypes, automations, and integrations.

• Develop production-ready applications using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, .NET/C#, or Go.

• Work with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and third-party integrations.

• Build solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI workflow automation.

• Work with structured and unstructured data.

• Integrate platforms such as Salesforce, Jira, ServiceNow, Oracle, or similar tools.

• Support solution deployment, adoption, documentation, and scaling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of strong software/AI engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on coding skills in at least one major programming language.

• Strong hands-on experience with AI/GenAI and LLM technologies.

• Experience with RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, model integration, or AI automation.

• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, authentication, cloud, and deployments.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with data and analytics platforms.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Candidates should be comfortable working directly with business/client teams.
