Oracle Security Manager

Role Description: 

As the Security Manager, you will be accountable for managing the day-to-day activities of the security team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a robust security solution, encompassing all cybersecurity aspects of the solution, including implementing Oracle Application Security and driving towards obtaining Authority-To-Operate. Your role will involve collaborating closely with functional, development, and architecture teams to ensure that security requirements are fully embedded throughout the application lifecycle. You will analyze technical architecture documents, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend enhancements to strengthen the overall security posture of the solution. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the security framework and ensuring that all technical requirements align with organizational standards. A focal point of this role is providing day-to-day direction for the lifecycle of the Application Security Roles (role-based access controls) that secure the numerous in-scope Oracle Fusion Cloud (OFC) business processes. The OFC security roles should be designed, built, and deployed with adherence to leading security practices including least privilege and separation of duties.

To excel in this position, you should be adept at leveraging Oracle Fusion Applications Security and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Identity & Access Management (IAM) tools. A background in leading cross-functional teams, managing complex security projects, and staying current with emerging cyber threats will further support your success in this role. Experience with security policy development, incident response, and contingency planning may be highly beneficial. Proficiency with architecting secure cloud solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating business needs into technical security requirements will help you drive successful outcomes in this role.

Responsibilities:

·         Lead the implementation and management of Oracle Fusion Applications Security, including designing, implementing, and deploying role-based access control to users via job roles, data roles, data security policies, etc. 

·         Apply the applicable Risk Management Framework(s) (i.e., NIST 800-53, OMB A-123) to the overall solution

·         Develop and maintain audit controls for system access

·         Stay current on system changes affecting security, including analyzing the impact of quarterly updates and developing test plans

·         Provide expert guidance on security best practices and architectural decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

·         Continuously assess and enhance security measures to protect organizational assets and data.

·         Lead and mentor junior resources in Oracle Application Security, Risk Management Cloud, and Compliance/ATO efforts
