Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of AI, chatbot, and customer experience solutions, with a strong preference for candidates who have hands-on experience with Amazon Connect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end projects involving AI, chatbot, conversational AI, and contact center technologies.
• Manage projects utilizing Amazon Connect and related AWS/customer experience technologies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, QA teams, and vendors.
• Translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
• Drive implementation of chatbot and AI initiatives, including integrations with contact center platforms.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Track project KPIs, deliverables, dependencies, and overall project health.
• Ensure adherence to organizational project management methodologies and governance standards.
• Manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Provide regular status reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• PMP certification strongly preferred/required.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably within enterprise technology or IT environments.
• Experience managing AI, chatbot, conversational AI, or contact center transformation projects.
• Strong experience with Amazon Connect preferred.
• Experience working with AWS technologies and cloud-based solutions is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and/or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment in San Antonio, TX.

Preferred Skills

• Amazon Connect implementation or migration experience.
• Experience with generative AI, NLP, virtual agents, and chatbot platforms.
• Contact center/CX transformation experience.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
• Strong experience with executive-level reporting and presentations.
