RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Houston, TX.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution. This role will oversee large-scale programs, including new operational facility implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will drive program governance, coordinate multiple workstreams, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and facilitate issue resolution while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Manager will lead and manage enterprise-level programs and projects from initiation through completion
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and success criteria
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment, sequencing, and dependency management
• Facilitate project status meetings, executive updates, and stakeholder communications
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and roadblocks
• As a Project Manager, you will develop project plans, process flows, stakeholder analyses, and other project documentation
• Coach and support workstream leaders while promoting accountability and collaboration
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
• PMP certification required; ITIL certification preferred
• 10+ years of experience managing complex enterprise programs and projects
• 6+ years leading remote, cross-functional teams
• Experience with business process improvement, operations, supply chain, or IT projects
• Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies
• Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
• Prior experience supporting business operations and a PMO (preferred)
• Prior experience of successfully working with customer and 3rd party vendors (preferred)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
