Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT – 100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week
Client Location: 350 N State St Ste 200, Salt Lake City, UT 84114
Duration: 12+ Months + Extensions
Employment Type: W2 Only – No C2C / No 1099
Work Authorization: All Work Statuses Accepted
Important: This is a 5-days-per-week onsite position. Candidates must already be located in Salt Lake City or nearby and be able to commute to the client location. No relocation candidates, please.

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with 6+ years of experience to support a healthcare-focused environment.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of IT Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst experience
• State Healthcare Agency experience strongly preferred
• Experience in Behavioral Health, Clinical Care, Hospital, Psychiatric Healthcare, or comparable healthcare environments
• Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis
• Experience creating BRDs, User Stories, Workflow Diagrams, Process Maps, and Acceptance Criteria
• Experience working in a SAFe / Scaled Agile Framework environment
• Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews and requirements workshops
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office/365, or equivalent tools
• Experience supporting UAT, testing, requirements traceability, and process improvement
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAFe certification
• State Government / Public Sector Healthcare experience
• Behavioral or Psychiatric Healthcare experience
• EHR / Healthcare IT experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, IT, or related field
