IT Coordinator

Location: Tempe, AZ Salary: $22.00 USD Hourly - $27.00 USD Hourly Description:
*100 Onsite at Clients' Tempe Headquarters
Job Description:

• Request Handling & Order Placement
• • Process incoming employee hardware requests (laptops, monitors, peripherals, accessories) via the IT ticketing queue.
  • Obtain required approvals, generate purchase requests, and place hardware orders with approved vendors.
  • Track order statuses, expedite urgent shipments, and communicate clear delivery timelines to end users and hiring managers.
• Logistics & Administrative Support
• • Maintain an organized inventory storage room (coordinating stock levels for chargers, adapters, docks, etc.).
  • Assist with the safe disposal and e-waste recycling of obsolete hardware according to company security and environmental standards.
  • Create and update basic documentation for internal setup procedures and request workflows.
• Required Qualifications
• • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or IT administrative/logistics role.
  • Education: High School Diploma or Associate Degree; coursework in IT/Computer Science is a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude: General familiarity with Windows OS, macOS, and standard PC/laptop hardware components. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Freshdesk) and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail (tracking serial numbers and asset IDs), and friendly customer service communication skills.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (boxes, desktop equipment, monitors) and perform physical inventory setup.
