Job Description

Systems Engineer, Aegis Combat Systems

Mount Laurel, NJ | On-site | DOORS + C++ | Secret Clearance Eligible

Want to work on systems that actually go to sea?

This team supports the Aegis Combat System, one of the U.S. Navy s most important integrated air and missile defense platforms. You ll work on real operational systems used aboard Navy ships, not isolated lab projects.

The work sits at the intersection of systems engineering, integration, test, requirements, troubleshooting, and software. You do not need to be a full-time C++ developer, but you should be comfortable reading existing C++ code, following the logic, tracing problems, and helping make targeted fixes when needed.

You ll join a specialized engineering firm that has supported this customer since 2007 and Aegis specifically since 2015. The program has 36 engineers, several with more than a decade of tenure, and the company has not had an East Coast layoff in nearly 18 years.
