  • Verify measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape measures, and other inspection tools.
  • Identify, document, label, and segregate nonconforming materials or products.
  • Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Communicate quality concerns to Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership.
  • Assist with nonconformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Verify that products meet customer requirements before shipment.
  • Support first-article inspections, internal audits, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and verify that tools are properly calibrated.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to clearly document and communicate inspection findings.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments.

Preferred

  • HVAC, heat-exchanger, coil, sheet-metal, welding, brazing, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or another quality-management system.
  • Experience using SAP or a similar manufacturing system.
  • Knowledge of nonconformance reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action processes.
