Lead Cyber Security and Advisory Engagements
16th August, 2026Position Summary The Manager in the Strategy & Consulting team is responsible for leading small project teams of Strategy & Consulting specialists and acting as a trusted cyber security advisor to senior stakeholders in Australia's largest organisations. This is achieved by providing direction and support to consultants as part of engagement teams, and through building client trust by communicating with influence, demonstrating excellence in planning and execution, and contributing deep cyber security knowledge. The Manager actively contributes throughout the client engagement life cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities, to delivery and closure, in addition to ongoing management of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate customers' business needs and advise on strategic cyber security planning
- Manage all or part of a relationship with customers, including change management, account planning, and development of key relationships to lead to follow on work
- Manage engagement teams, including project scoping and definition, work plan development and implementation, meeting preparation and facilitation, and project management
- Plan and coordinate the resources necessary to complete product implementation and preparation of major strategic proposals
- Perform rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, developing cohesive conclusions, and presenting key findings at the executive level
- Lead, coach and build high performing Strategy & Consulting Practice teams by developing others' skills and increasing knowledge of CyberCX and Practice products, services, capabilities

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- 5 years' experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company in cyber security, ideally with experience across privacy or data management orstrategic risk.
- Experience identifying opportunities and helping qualify and sell engagements
- A demonstrated track record of providing impactful client outcomes through high-quality delivery, effective team management and delegation
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading others to build their capabilities, encourage employee engagement, promote a positive learning environment and deliver high-quality outcomes for customers
- Strong experience in applying a strategic mindset and understanding how engagements fit into a broader business context
- Experience identifying opportunities and helping qualify and sell engagements
