Senior Network Engineer

• Provide L3 network support for enterprise and data center environments
• Design and deploy Cisco routing and switching infrastructure, with emphasis on Catalyst 9300 platforms
• Manage advanced routing protocols including BGP (iBGP and eBGP), OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS
• Configure and support Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, RSTP, EtherChannel, and trunk/access port configurations
• Administer Palo Alto Strata Next-Generation Firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect solutions
• Implement network segmentation and Zero Trust security controls using microsegmentation technologies such as PVLANs, Trustsec/SGTs, or equivalent methods
• Design and support SD-WAN solutions including Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) and Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN
• Design and support cloud networking across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform environments, including ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and Cloud VPN implementations
• Develop network automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve major network incidents
• Create technical documentation and collaborate with security and infrastructure teams

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 protocols and concepts (RSTP, VLANs, trunk/access ports, Layer 2 forwarding, MAC address tables) on the Catalyst 9300 platform
• Strong understanding of BGP routing protocols (iBGP and eBGP)
• Demonstrated design experience developing solutions to solve problems and deliver new network features
• Solid fundamental understanding of Layer 3 networks and routing principles
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst routing and switching platforms
• Proficiency with Palo Alto Strata firewalls and Panorama management
• Experience designing and implementing microsegmentation technologies (PVLANs, Trustsec/SGTs, or similar)
• Required experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure-as-code and network automation
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela and/or Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN)
• Cloud networking experience across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Splunk)
• CCNP or PCNSE certification preferred

• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing network engineering tasks
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in data center environments with varying temperature and noise conditions
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed (estimated 10-15% travel)

• CCIE or requivalent
• Meaningful experience with Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers
• Experience working in operational technology (OT) and manufacturing network environments
