Senior Network Design and Support Engineer

Design, build, and support resilient networks for surveillance systems serving commercial and government customers. Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, support customer deployments and upgrades, develop automation tools, and document network solutions. Domestic and international travel may be required up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design networks to meet Saab and customer specifications.
• Develop resilient Layer 2 and Layer 3 architectures with redundancy, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• Troubleshoot, reconfigure, replace, and upgrade network devices remotely and on-site.
• Collaborate with product development, deployment, and customer support teams.
• Develop tools and scripts for network configuration and monitoring.
• Document supported networks and contribute to product and equipment improvements.
