Job Description
We require a Project Manager-Internal Works for Cadent CMO East of England Tier1 Mains Replacement.

• Develop a programme of work ensuring that projects are issued, monitored, delivered (to cost and time) in accordance with legislative, regulatory, technical standards, policies and procedures.
• Manage the performance of the supply chain to ensure key contract objectives are delivered.
• Act as a key advocate for the contract with senior representatives from local authority organisations to promote activities.
• Manage the Internal Works LDP's to optimise operational activities thus ensuring key business objectives are delivered.
• Manage the Internal Works LDP's ensuring the highest standard of customer service and safety standards are delivered, providing assurance though audit and inspection, taking appropriate action to address areas of improvement.
• Support operations with MOBs
• Support the Area Manager's and Head of Operations in identifying areas for improvement, leading on initiatives as appropriate.
• Manage the Internal Works Managers as direct reports in accordance with company policy (e.g. attendance, performance reviews).
• Maximise staff engagement through actively contributing at team talks, address staff issues, identifying development needs, deliver as appropriate toolbox talks, safety briefings and team briefs.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, claims and complaints in an expedient and professional manner.
• Undertake or assist with incident reporting, investigations, submission of final reports as well as close out of remedial actions.
• Continually monitor operative's performance and foster a culture of team working and safety, creating a culture of zero tolerance of safety and compliance breaches and working towards Injury Free Environment.
• Carry out standby and call out duties as required.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties appropriate for the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the internal works process for the CMO
• Manage the internal works LDP's
• Carry out Inspections on Gas Safe Engineer
• Carry out desk top inspections (10) per week
• Investigate and resolve Customer Enquires and Complaints
• Undertake and assist in incident investigation.
• Implement change where required
• Line manager responsibilities for the Internal Works Managers

Qualifications

• Experience working in the gas industry.
• Experience in Site Supervision (utilities)
• SHE Gas
• CCN1
• MET1
• SMSTS
• Asbestos
• PEB1
• Gas Safe
