Job Description


Our client, a leading player in the Defence & Security sector, is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to join their team in Aberdeen on a contract basis. This project, focusing on defence-related initiatives, demands a comprehensive understanding of repeatable manufacturing processes and ERP-based mapping.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse business processes within a defence-related context to identify improvement opportunities
  • Map manufacturing processes and ensure they are aligned with the ERP system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimise process efficiency
  • Develop comprehensive reports and documentation to support decision-making
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements relevant to defence and security
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit and validate business requirements
  • Ensure successful delivery of project milestones within the 4-month contract period


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in business analysis, particularly within the defence and security sector
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their repeatability
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and process mapping
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on-site a minimum of 4 days a week in Aberdeen
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Capacity to work under IR35 compliance for a 4-month contract
  • Ability to commence work imminently and partake in an interview process this week
