Job Description

Job Summary The Systems Analyst III serves as a key liaison between technical development teams and business stakeholders to implement, support, and enhance technology solutions that align with organizational objectives. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, developing technical specifications, supporting system changes, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions. The Systems Analyst III collaborates across Development, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, and Product teams to support application architecture, system integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position reports directly to the Technical Manager and requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Business & Technical Analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and refine functional and technical requirements. Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for development teams. Assist Product Teams in prioritizing user requirements and managing system enhancement initiatives. Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to support business objectives. Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and tools aligned with industry trends. Application & Systems Support Coordinate and support application lifecycle activities, including quarterly releases, defect resolution, and change management processes. Work closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and system roadblocks. Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements. Support the implementation and maintenance of technical solutions across multiple platforms and systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams to support application architecture, integrations, and operational requirements. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful solution delivery. Reconcile competing requirements across multiple business units, product portfolios, and technical teams. Documentation & Communication Develop, review, and maintain technical specifications, integration documentation, and system process flows. Document integrations between new and legacy systems. Communicate project status, technical requirements, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Provide clear explanations of technical concepts to business users and other stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role. Experience working in a solution delivery or software implementation environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the Electric Utilities industry. Experience supporting large-scale, complex enterprise systems. Familiarity with programming languages such asc, Java, and Visual Basic (VB). Knowledge of databases, system security principles, and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience working with multiple project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe. Understanding of application architecture, system integrations, and enterprise technology environments. Certifications No certifications required. Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Agile methodologies, Project Management, or related areas are considered a plus. Education: Bachelors Degree
