Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI and Machine Learning to design, build, and deploy intelligent, data-driven applications. In this role, you will bridge traditional statistical data science, predictive modeling, and state-of-the-art Generative AI frameworks (LLMs, RAG architectures, Agentic workflows) to solve complex business challenges and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Generative AI & LLM Systems: Design, fine-tune, and deploy large language model (LLM) architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and autonomous AI Agent workflows.
Core Data Science & Predictive Modeling: Apply statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and exploratory data analysis to complex structured and unstructured datasets.
Pipeline Development: Build and optimize end-to-end data processing and model inference pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
Model Evaluation & MLOps: Establish evaluation frameworks (hallucination tracking, accuracy metrics, and drift detection) to maintain production model performance and alignment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex business requirements into high-performing machine learning architectures and communicate insights to technical and non-technical partners.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience:
4+ years of professional experience in data science, predictive modeling, and applied machine learning.
1–2+ years of hands-on experience building, fine-tuning, or deploying Generative AI models and solutions (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face).
Programming & Databases: Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and complex SQL querying.
Gen AI Tooling: Deep understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma, Milvus, PGVector), embedding models, and orchestration frameworks.
Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience deploying models in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing multi-agent systems and orchestration tools (e.g., CrewAI, AutoGen).
Familiarity with MLOps pipelines, Docker containerization, CI/CD, and model governance frameworks.
Industry experience in financial services, telecommunications, retail, or enterprise SaaS (highly relevant for the Plano, TX talent market).
