Staffing Assistant
Starting Pay: $20.00+ per hour, Depending on Experience
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, self-motivated Staffing Assistant / Associate Relations Specialist to support our onsite workforce and daily branch operations. This role is responsible for managing associate engagement, conducting orientations, monitoring compliance with safety and dress code standards, tracking attendance, providing coaching and counseling when needed, and ensuring a positive experience for both associates and clients.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, able to work independently, and confident supervising and supporting a workforce of 35 to 60 associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily new hire orientations and onboarding activities
- Monitor associate compliance with company safety policies and dress code requirements
- Track attendance, punctuality, and workforce metrics
- Enter and maintain employee data accurately in company systems
- Counsel and coach associates regarding attendance, performance, and workplace expectations
- Build positive relationships with associates and serve as a primary point of contact for workforce concerns
- Communicate professionally with client management and branch leadership
- Assist with recruiting, hiring events, associate retention efforts, and other branch activities as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Help ensure a safe, productive, and professional work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in staffing, human resources, workforce management, customer service, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Comfortable addressing attendance, performance, and policy issues with associates
- Proficient with data entry and basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience supervising or supporting a workforce is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
