Position: Hitachi SCADA technical resource 
Location: Onsite at Jupiter, FL
Duration: Longterm
 
A Hitachi SCADA technical resource designs, configures, and supports secure industrial control, HMI, and grid automation networks
.Responsibilities include managing system integration, executing factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and troubleshooting hardware or software issues for power and rail infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Develop HMI and SCADA software applications, configuration databases, and secure industrial network architectures.

• Testing & Commissioning: Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and field startup activities.

• Cybersecurity & IT: Strengthen control network security, firewalls, routers, servers, and virtual environments.

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex system events, diagnose hardware/software faults, and guide internal or client teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years working with SCADA, EMS (Energy Management Systems), DMS, or industrial automation platforms.

• Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of networking, virtualization platforms (VMware, Kubernetes), and smart grid architecture.
