Job Title: Scrum Master - on W2
Location: Raleigh, NC (On-site)
Employment Type: W2
Experience: 5+ Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master with 5+ years of experience in Agile project management and Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching Scrum teams, removing impediments, and ensuring successful delivery of projects in alignment with business objectives.

The candidate should have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, along with hands-on experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Guide and coach Scrum teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and methodologies.
  • Remove impediments and resolve blockers that impact team productivity and sprint commitments.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Ensure effective sprint planning, execution, tracking, and delivery.
  • Monitor team performance using Agile metrics such as Velocity, Sprint Burndown, and Burnup charts.
  • Promote continuous improvement and help teams enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges.
  • Support the team in achieving sprint goals and delivering high-quality products.
  • Encourage collaboration, transparency, accountability, and self-organization within Agile teams.
  • Prepare and communicate sprint progress reports and project status updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Agile principles, and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint activities.
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile metrics, sprint tracking, and reporting.
  • Proven experience identifying and removing impediments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience working in enterprise-level Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of Kanban and SAFe methodologies.
  • Experience managing multiple Agile teams and supporting large-scale projects.
