Enterprise Data Warehouse Data Architect 

Texas Children’s is seeking a Senior Data Architect / EDW Consultant for an initial 6-month engagement to support a high-visibility reporting initiative while internal team members focus on a large enterprise data migration. Strong potential for extension due to the size of the overall program (3-5 year initiative).

1 st  option: Health Catalyst EDW experience

2 nd  option: if you can’t find health catalyst, then they are okay with strong SQL AND Epic Clarity (within healthcare) experience

Must Have

• Health Catalyst EDW experience -  if we cannot find this, they are okay with strong SQL AND Epic Clarity
• Healthcare industry experience
• Advanced SQL
• Enterprise Data Modeling
• Executive-facing communication skills

Strongly Preferred

• Epic Clarity
• Healthcare data warehouse experience
• Healthcare reporting and analytics
• Requirements gathering with business stakeholders
• Dashboard and metrics development

Nice to Have

• Snowflake
• QlikView / Qlik Sense
• Data warehouse migration experience

What the Consultant Will Do

• Work directly with executive stakeholders
• Gather business requirements
• Design and build healthcare data models
• Develop reporting metrics and dashboards
• Support financial, operational, and administrative reporting
• Partner with business units to deliver critical analytics
• Serve as an extension of the internal Data & Analytics team

This is a hands-on architect role, not a strategy-only position.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10+ years in Data Warehouse / Data Architecture
• Strong healthcare analytics background
• Experience with Epic data structures and reporting
• Proven ability to work directly with executives
• Strong SQL development skills
• Comfortable building data models and reporting solutions
