QA Test Engineer – Manual
40/hr on C2C 

Introduction:

The QA Test Engineer – Manual will be responsible for conducting manual testing, focusing on API, SQL, backend, integration, and transactional-system testing within an E-commerce industry setting. This role requires a senior hands-on QA professional with technical depth beyond UI testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies, test cases, and execute manual testing
• Perform regression, integration, and release testing
• Conduct API and backend testing using REST/API, Java/C#, and backend services
• Work with databases, including strong SQL and SQL/NoSQL knowledge
• Test web and mobile applications, including web, iOS, and Android platforms
• Focus on testing transactional systems, POS, SaaS, IAM/RBAC, accessibility, and analytics
• Participate in Agile processes, including user stories, QA estimation, and defect management
• Collaborate with development teams in SDLC, from development to production, and validate releases
• Basic automation tasks, using BDD/TDD and scripting in Python/Shell
• Utilize tools and technologies such as Splunk, Kubernetes, messaging systems, caching, and performance/load testing
• Work in various environments including Linux, Windows, iOS, and Android

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of QA experience in Agile environment
• Strong manual testing skills with a focus on API, SQL, backend, and integration testing

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
• Familiarity with test estimation and test-driven development
• Understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms
