Investment Banking C++ Developer - eTrading/low latency/Linux/FX/pricing - CONTRACT

Our Investment Banking client is looking for a C++ Developer for a contract role (initial 12 months)

A successful candidate is expected to:
Design, build and implement low latency systems in our eTrading platform.
Work with teams spread across infrastructure, product development, support, test, and the Front Office
Participate in eTrading product requirements gathering

Qualifications

C+/17/20/23 skills, knowledge of the STL, experience of the Boost libraries is highly desirable.
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: system, network, or low latency programming
Development on Linux using gcc, gdb, git and associated debugging tools.
Knowledge of all aspects of software design, development, and deployment.
Working knowledge of FX products, pricing, and Real Time risk management is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of the design of scalable, high availability, supportable distributed architectures.
Working knowledge of messaging and communication protocols including TCP, UDP, multicast, and data encoding
Working understanding of SQL and simple DDL operations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with business representatives.

Contract role - inside IR35 - hybrid working (Central London based)
