We are looking for Java Angular - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Mississauga, ON

Job Title: Java Angular - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Mississauga, ON

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $32.00hr - $37.00hr

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a full-stack Java and Angular Developer with 5+ years of experience in front-end UI development for applications handling large data volumes and reporting. The successful candidate will design and develop complex UI components and build responsive interfaces.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end (full-stack desirable) UI development for applications with large data volumes and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex UI components and handle large datasets efficiently at an advanced to expert proficiency level.
  • Experience in front-end development using Angular (Material UI) at an intermediate to advanced proficiency level.
  • Ability to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces, familiarity with Angular best practices, and recent experience with Material UI components using Angular 16+.
  • Strong systems thinking mindset with the ability to distill and clarify complex logic.
  • Advanced proficiency in analyzing and solving complex problems, thinking critically, and providing clear and concise solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Middle to strong knowledge of MySQL databases, including schema design, implementation of stored procedures, and query optimization for large data volumes.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining Node.js (NestJS) and Java (Spring Boot) back-end systems.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Background in retail, e-commerce, food and beverage, or freight rate management systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience setting up feature flags leveraging tools like Switch.io and Cloudbees.
